FTPConn v3.1.1

We have updated FTPConn to version 3.1(.1). A minor fix was required to allow functionality within Safari. No patch notes are available since this is a 3rd-tier update; 3.x(.X) where X is the 3rd-tier.

iaps.Framework v1.0

We just completed our new php framework and have fully tested the application. This framework can be integrated into any website and provides a solid base for updating and adding new information and pages. So far we have successfully completed 3 integrations of the framework with 2 more coming up within the week! We hope you all enjoy!

FTPConn v3.1.0

FTPConn v3.1.0 has just been released. We have made several functionality changes that will allow for a smoother & seemless flow of the application. For more details, go to Projects & Downloads. Please contact us if you wish to have a FTP Client installed on your webserver!

Jira Studio

We have decided to use Jira Studio instead of Codendi for issue tracking, sub-versions, tasks & workflow, and source repository. Project development using this application starts today! We hope to have a full review of Jira by August 10th, 2009.

Update! Projects & Downloads…

We recently updated our portfolio and project & downloads page! We now offer project management, issue tracking and a source repository through 3rd party software. The current implementation we are testing is provided by Codendi. Please contact us if you’re interested in integration. Also, we have recently made changes to our terms & conditions and have re-written our Service Contract.

New Layout

The new layout is live! We introduced a contemporary look and feel to the site to give it a bit more elegance. Not all the pages are complete, but the most important functions are available. We are currently working on 3 client projects and 3 of our own, so we are keeping quite busy but not overwhelmed. The number of websites we are hosting is growing at a steady pace. Considering this, we hope to have an upgraded server for all of our clients by the end of the year at the very latest. A few more clients requesting web hosting will provide us enough funds to cover this investment. For all other updates, please read the previous news item added on 2009.05.27.

On the go…

It has been a while sinse our last company update, so here’s a quick breakdown of what’s going on…

  • news feed : We realize this news feed doesn’t look too pretty, or too organized considering the lack of distinction between each news item, but rest assured we are developing the new feed and it will be live asap. UPDATE! Still not the prettiest, but functional :)
  • website : Hope you like the new look!
  • projects : Check out the new projects we have in development! We have also updated our portfolio!!
  • my account : We have begun work on our new client backOffice! Stay tuned for updates.
  • employment : All positions have been filled. We are currently not seeking any new team members. But stay tuned! A big project may come our way and we may need YOU! :)

FTPConn v2.0

FTPConn 2.0 is complete and polished. There are 3 options for deployment. Use can connect to the application on our home server (very slow). If you have a webserver but do not have root access to the filesystem, we can deploy it without progress bar support (file upload progress indicator). And if you have a webserver with root access, we can deploy with progress bar support. If you would like FTPConn 2.0 installed on your website, please contact us and we will determine the best method of implementation

What’s going on…

We will be releasing FTPConn 2.0 within the next week. A formal release notice will be issued under our Projects & Downloads page, and we will be updating our clients websites with the new version at that time. We have made signifcant changes to the application, so we hope you and your clients enjoy the new and improved system! A full set of release note will accompany the release notice.

We have decided against using a mainstream PHP framework for development (our own framework beats them all!). Our future website is in the planning stage. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer doesn’t support all facets of JQuery so we must address this issue in our Help & Support center. In the meantime, you can contact us at our support email address, or call us at 519.697.6720 (Ontario, Canada).

Also, our job postings have been updated!

What’s New…

Already into the New Year! Nope, I haven’t gone anywhere…just really busy. But not too busy for another website overhaul; minor. We are getting new business cards in shortly and we plan to revamp the look of our site to match our ever so important business cards ;) We also need to take care of the Help & Support section of our site. Internet Explorer doesn’t seem to like JQuery too much :(

Our latest interests lie with C++, C# and CodeIgniter (a PHP framework that seems to do a very nice job of providing exactly what we need). Our work on uBudget has slowed down recently. We will have to take another stab at it once we stop getting so much worth-while work to do! We are looking forward to the many new clients in the near future, and welcome our most recent clients! Thanks for helping us keep afloat while we paddle.
