jQuery is a fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development. jQuery is designed to change the way that we write JavaScript.


Events

jQuery events can be called without loading a web page, which gives the impression of event-driven software. Entire web applications can be built on this set of functions to provide on demand, quick updates of information without having to reload a new page which is the most cumbersome aspect of web page transitions. Usually only small bits of jQuery are used in a website since it takes time to implement, but as it becomes more popular, a greater number of functions are used to create a marvelous website experience.
